Building the tail
The tail was built up over the plans. The elevators were fine, but with the horizontal stabilisers, when the laser-cut parts were assembled, the angle of the root rib did not match the angle on the plan. I changed it to match the plan, which was a mistake. It would have been a better fit if I had ignored the plans and gone with the fit of the parts.
I added a strip of Proskin to strengthen the trailing edge of the stab.
