The wings

You start the wings by temporarily fixing the root ribs to the fuselage and making holes for the wing tubes. I took my time with this to make sure the tube alignment was spot on. I used the digital angle gauge on my iPhone to level the tubes.

The Proskin covering was fine. I followed the instructions and used balsa strips and plenty of weights to make sure the skin stuck firmly to the ribs. Polyurethane glue was used. Proskin also used for the ailerons and the flaps.

  1. Hi,

Just wanted to say how much like your Mick Reeves build. I’m in the process of building the Wood Version.
It would be good to bounce some questions at you if you dont mind??

    Best wishes,

    Martin.
