Exciting progress (but still with rivets!)

I’ve been applying more rivets, this time using the Mick Reeves paint-on method.
The vinyl strip of holes is placed on the surface, then the holes are filled with primer.
The strip is removed leaving the dots of paint. These can be as proud or as subtle as you like, depending on how much you rub them down.
The picture shows the top of my aileron in primer. I’m taking the rivet patterns from an amazing book from Monforton Press in Canada that has exact scale drawings of Spitfire bits down to the tiniest details. There’s a video of this method here.
